Nature, as a result of our own doing, is reinserting itself back into consciousness and into our face is literally showing us what it can do to us, our way of life, and existence. In the passage, Ghosh writes, “you do not lock eyes with it until it launches its charge, and at that moment a shock course through you and you are immobilized, frozen (29).” Like I answered in my last prompt, we really don’t understand the severity of things until it’s presented to us in such a surreal way.
